    After completing this course you will be able to identify signs of illness and easily monitor your chickens health at home. You will first learn some basic chicken anatomy, then you'll be asked to get one of your hens so that you can learn where to feel and what to look for.

    After completing this course you will be able to describe how to keep your birds healthy. You will learn about worming, mite and lice control and nutrition. I also have a Q&A session for you to ask any unanswered questions.

    Hens are sold out across the country due to egg shortages. You WILL be seeing more chickens after COVID-19. Do you want to be prepared? By the end of this course you will be able to investigate and decide on the most appropriate actions for common pet chicken presentations.

    This course is for all chicken keepers who wish to learn more about the health of their birds, and to meet like minded people over tea and cake.

Online courses are run via Zoom.

 

You do not have to download Zoom to join.

 

Instead, do this:

1. Click on the zoom link sent to you in your confrimation email

2. When the zoom web page opens, select the option "Join from your browser" in small blue, underlined text instead.

Or you can join over the telephone using the local dial in code in the confirmation email.

You will be sent a Microsoft Powerpoint document to use as part of the chicken health courses, but this is not absolutely necessary if downloading it is a problem.

After the health courses you will be sent a summary document, so no need to take lots of notes.
