We will be covering common breathing and foot issues, including ways to investigate and treat them, foot bandaging and bumblefoot surgery. Bring your own chickens to practice spotting symptoms, so you leave with hands-on skills to keep your flock healthy.

About the Event

These are online, interactive classes run online with a small group of people and their hens. We will be interacting and doing tasks together.

 

Who is this class suitable for?

This class is perfect for pet chicken owners who would like to learn more about common respiratory and foot conditions (e.g. bumblefoot) that can affect hens.

If you are less familiar with chicken anatomy and recognising clinical signs, please complete the “Introduction to Chicken Health – Identifying illness” class.
