About the Event

These are virtual, interactive courses run online with a small group of people and their hens. We will be interacting and doing tasks together.

Who is this course suitable for?

This course is perfect for pet chicken owners who would like to learn more about their hens, their anatomy and how to recognise common clinical signs. This course is especially relevant to those with rescue laying hens or brown/hybrid hens as these conditions are particularly common in older birds of this type.

If you are less familiar with chicken anatomy and recognising clinical signs, please complete the “Introduction to Chicken Health – Identifying illness” course first. Then you will get the most out of this session.
