After completing this course you will be able to identify signs of illness in your chickens at home. You will first learn some basic chicken anatomy, then you'll be asked to get one of your hens so that you can learn where to feel and what to look for.

About the Event

These are in-person, interactive, online courses with a small group of people and their hens. We will be interacting and doing tasks together.


Who is this course suitable for?

Pet owners who would like to learn more about their hens, their anatomy and common clinical signs they might exhibit.


What should I bring?

Tea and biscuits.

Make sure you will be able to catch a calm hen when we get to the hen health assessment stage, or have her comfortably penned up ready with food, water and a friend to keep her company.
